Dave “Mac” McIntyre Memorial

Dave McIntyre

With profound sadness, we share the passing of our dear brother, Dave “Mac” McIntyre. On Friday, November 22nd, Mac was called home and was found unresponsive in his bed. While our hearts ache at his absence, we take comfort in the knowledge that Mac went to sleep here and woke up in the presence of our loving Savior.

Mac’s impact on Set Free was immeasurable. He served with unwavering faith, boundless kindness, and deep devotion to God. His memory will forever remain a beacon of hope and inspiration in our community, leaving a legacy that echoes into eternity.

Mac is survived by his beloved daughters Erin (husband, John Hunley) and Karina, his son Daniel, and his precious grandchildren Zoe and Matthias. During this difficult time, we lift them in our prayers and surround them with love.

As we grieve this loss, we rejoice in the promise of Scripture and the assurance that Mac is now in the glory of God’s presence, free from pain and filled with everlasting joy.

While here on this earth...

His unwavering dedication to God’s calling has left a profound and lasting influence on his family, his ministry, and countless lives around the world. As Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4:7). Without question, this verse beautifully speaks to Mac’s legacy of faithful service and the eternal impact of his life.

Mac’s life also stood as a powerful testament to God’s grace, a living embodiment of Christ’s command to “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation” (Mark 16:15). With an unwavering passion and tireless dedication, he introduced countless souls to the life-changing love of Jesus. His vision for Set Free Global was far more than just a ministry—it became a movement, breaking chains and setting free captives in Christ’s name; ministering to over 10,000 of God’s children daily.

As we reflect on his legacy, let us honor Mac’s memory by embracing the mission he cherished so deeply. “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain” (1 Corinthians 15:58). By giving, praying, and actively participating in this mission, we can ensure that Mac’s vision thrives and that God’s kingdom continues to flourish.
